Graduate entry programmes (GEPs) are designed specifically for people who have already done an undergraduate degree. You get the same qualification as the standard medical course but often learn in a different way. The pros include more interactive learning, more patient contact from an early stage (in some cases) and an NHS bursary (including tuition fees) from years 2-4. The cons include fierce competition, shorter holidays (in some cases) and arguably a more intense workload during the course.
